Introduction
Hi there! I'm Kaley Mazurowski. I am currently a student at Scottsdale Community College pursuing a professional editing certification in addition to my associates degrees.
Throughout my 6 years of experience I have gained hard skills in a variety of video and photo editing softwares. Such as AVID, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, and Affinity Photo. As well as comfort in working with different camera systems and situations.
My Mission
At KaleyAndACamera, I cultivate video editing, photography, and videography solutions that aim to inspire, motivate, and captivate audiences.
Since I was young I have been intrigued and inspired by content creators. Whether that was people creating movies, or growing an audience on a YouTube channel. Going into high school I experimented with a variety of art disciplines. Whether it was ceramics, drawing, painting, and even a few instruments, nothing seemed to stick.
That is until I found video production.
Then suddenly, it clicked. That is when I began working with the Adobe Cloud system, and fell in love with video editing. While some may find the task daunting and tedious, that is exactly why I am passionate about it. After two years of film studies, I decided to enter the National Journalism Education Association videography contest. I was given a handful of weeks, and the topic "A New Start" to create a one minute thirty second video. After I submitted the video, I was more than thrilled to receive the news that I had won 1st place.
In that moment I decided I was determined to pursue this professionally.
